Our technology is based on taking a new approach to sampling optical signals.  If taking one sample is good, then two is better.  A huge amount of information can be extracted by dividing the signal for sampling in different ways.  Sampling in pairs also enables signal analysis without any information about the system clock, which allows the processing of severely noisy or distorted signals.

Our in-band OSNR technology as based on a polarization split of the signal, while our eyeD technology enables  the monitor to address multi impairments by splitting the signal in time.
